Data driven marketing…think like a startup

Is it more difficult to become data-driven than companies born data-driven?

I would argue yes.  Think of startups today – so many of them are leveraging more and more data to develop their business plans, identify market needs, focus in on a target market, develop their product, and execute their go-to-market strategy.

Startups are doing this everyday. Being born in the era of the cloud and big data has enabled them to do what most executives at large companies are unsatisfied with – speed of innovation and time to revenue. Why else would the buzzwords “digital transformation” exist.
